Job Description

About the Role

As an AEM Developer at PradeepIT, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Adobe's Experience Manager CMS. This role is crucial in helping the company's clients achieve their digital goals, whether it's through creating engaging customer experiences or streamlining internal processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify needs, design solutions, and implement them using the latest technologies.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve translating marketing and website needs into AEM-specific recommendations and solutions, leveraging AEM and other state-of-the-art technologies to solve cross-departmental challenges. You will also be involved in designing and improving internal development methodologies around Adobe AEM solutions, ensuring that the team is always working efficiently and effectively.

Given the remote nature of this position, you will need to be highly self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with your remote team members.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Adobe's Experience Manager CMS, including site architecture, custom components, workflow development, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Multi Site Management (MSM).
  • Translate marketing and website needs into AEM-specific recommendations and solutions.
  • Leverage AEM and other state-of-the-art technologies to solve cross-departmental challenges.
  • Design and improve internal development methodologies around Adobe AEM solutions.
  • Deliver a robust self-service environment for the end-user community.
  • Design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, and document complex software applications.
  • Work with technology teams to build and maintain web applications.
  • Use common Java design patterns and AEM best practices to create custom templates, components, workflows, and dialogs.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve defects.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the field, applying this knowledge to continuously improve processes and solutions.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 to 12 years of experience in Java, J2EE, and web framework-based development.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its components.
  • Strong knowledge of Java development and deployment tools such as Eclipse, Maven, and Git.
  • Demonstrated ability to use common Java design patterns and AEM best practices.
  • Experience developing systems using agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Certification in AEM or related technologies is highly desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other Adobe technologies such as Adobe Campaign and Adobe Analytics.
  • Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and technologies.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
