AI Deployment Engineer, Codex | Korea

About the Role

The Codex Deployment Engineering team operates as a trusted technical partner to its clientele, which encompasses both digital-native companies and global enterprises. Your day-to-day activities will be characterized by a deep engagement with these customers, understanding their unique challenges, and developing tailored solutions that accelerate their software development processes.

This role is highly cross-functional, requiring you to navigate technical architecture, product strategy, and customer-facing leadership with ease. Collaboration with multiple departments, including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Applied Engineering, will be pivotal in advocating for customer needs, shaping product direction, and ensuring the successful deployment of intelligent coding systems.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert on Openai Codex for a diverse portfolio of customers, embedding deeply to enable their engineering teams and build coding workflows.
• Collaborate directly with customers to design and implement AI-enhanced development workflows, spanning from rapid prototyping to scalable production rollout.
• Develop high-quality demos, reference implementations, and workflow automations using Codex, integrating it into your development process.
• Lead comprehensive workshops, technical deep dives, and hands-on enablement sessions to facilitate the adoption of AI coding tools within engineering organizations.
• Contribute valuable technical content, including examples, guides, patterns, and best practices, to the Openai Cookbook, supporting the broader developer community in accelerating their work with Codex.
• Gather high-fidelity product insights from real customer deployments and translate them into clear product proposals and model feedback for internal teams.
• Influence customer strategy and decision-making by articulating how AI coding tools align with their SDLC, technical roadmap, and organizational workflows.
• Act as a trusted advisor on solution architecture, operational readiness, model configuration, security considerations, and best-practice adoption.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of experience in post-sales engineering or solutions architecture, with a proven track record of working directly with customers.
• At least 2 years of software engineering experience, coupled with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI coding tools, with a deep understanding of what enhances developer productivity.
• Experience in building demos, integrations, and prototypes that articulate the capabilities of Codex.
• Strong background in delivering large-format workshops or technical training to engineering teams, with the ability to craft engaging, hands-on sessions.
• Contributions to public technical guides, patterns, or examples, with a focus on clarity and community impact.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, persuasive written and verbal form.
• Excitement about navigating ambiguous, rapidly evolving problem spaces to iterate toward novel solutions.
