AI Deployment Engineer | Codex

About the Role

The day-to-day work of an AI Deployment Engineer is highly varied and challenging. It involves working directly with customers to understand their goals and objectives, designing and implementing AI workflows, and ensuring that these workflows are scalable and efficient. The engineer will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to customers, helping them to overcome any obstacles they may encounter as they adopt Codex.

What You Will Do

• Partner with customers to design, validate, and scale advanced AI workflows
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on OpenAI Codex, providing guidance and support to customers
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and to develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Develop and deliver technical training and workshops to engineering teams, helping them to get the most out of Codex
• Contribute to the development of technical guides, patterns, and examples that showcase the capabilities of Codex
• Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and suggestions for future product development
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are able to achieve their goals with Codex
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and coding, applying this knowledge to improve the solutions and services offered to customers

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, post-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a similar field
• Proven experience of working directly with customers to understand their needs and to develop solutions that meet those needs
• A deep understanding of AI coding tools and customized developer workflows
• Experience of delivering large, high-impact workshops or technical training to engineering teams
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, persuasive written and verbal form
• Experience of contributing technical guides, patterns, or examples publicly
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and to develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience of working with OpenAI Codex or similar AI coding tools
• A background in software development, with a strong understanding of coding principles and practices
• Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A strong network of contacts within the industry, with the ability to leverage these contacts to identify new business opportunities
