By working side-by-side with customers, from digital-native companies to global enterprises, the team helps to accelerate how these companies plan, build, and deliver software. This role blends technical architecture, product strategy, and customer-facing leadership, requiring a candidate who is not only technically deep but also possesses excellent communication and leadership skills.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert on OpenAI Codex for a portfolio of customers.
- Embed deeply with customers to enable their engineering teams and build coding workflows.
- Partner directly with customers to design and implement AI-enhanced development workflows.
- Build high-quality demos, reference implementations, and workflow automations using Codex.
- Lead large-format workshops, technical deep dives, and hands-on enablement sessions.
- Contribute technical content to the OpenAI Cookbook to help the broader developer community.
- Gather high-fidelity product insights from real customer deployments and translate them into clear product proposals.
- Influence customer strategy and decision-making regarding the integration of AI coding tools into their SDLC and technical roadmap.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on solution architecture, operational readiness, model configuration, security considerations, and best-practice adoption.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of technical consulting, post-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or similar experience working directly with customers.
- Experience as a power user of AI coding tools with a deep understanding of developer workflow customization.
- Strong background in building demos, integrations, and prototypes that demonstrate the capabilities of AI coding tools.
- Ability to deliver large, high-impact workshops or technical training to engineering teams.
- Public contributions to technical guides, patterns, or examples, with a focus on clarity and community impact.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts persuasively.
- Experience working in rapidly evolving problem spaces with a penchant for novel solutions.
- Strong customer-centric approach, prioritizing customer success, reliability, safety, and operational excellence.
