About the Role
The AI Engineer position at Coverflex is a critical component of the company's mission to revolutionize compensation and benefits. As an AI Engineer on the Performance Team, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining the accuracy and reliability of Coverflex's AI models. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve working closely with the AI team to design, implement, and test new AI models and agents. You will be expected to maintain evals to ensure accuracy, monitor user feedback, and run experiments to proactively increase the performance of current agents. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's ability to provide innovative compensation solutions to its clients.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain AI models and agents to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Design and implement new AI models and agents to improve performance
- Monitor user feedback and run experiments to proactively increase performance
- Maintain evals to ensure accuracy and update them as new feedback is received
- Collaborate with the AI team to design, implement, and test new AI models and agents
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning
- Design new agents and maintain the evals infrastructure to run reliably and efficiently
- Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of AI models with the company's platforms
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI models and agents
What We Are Looking For
- Functional coding skills in TypeScript or Python
- Demonstrated experience with LLMs (personal project or professional)
- Experience with creating AI agents
- Familiarity with LLM providers and model trade-offs
- Strong understanding of machine learning and natural language processing
- Experience with AI development frameworks and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
- Passion for AI and machine learning
