About the Role

As an AI Engineer at Weekday, you will be working on designing, building, and optimizing intelligent systems that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning (ML) principles. This role is crucial in driving Weekday's digital transformation and innovation efforts, focusing on developing cutting-edge solutions that can process and understand human language at scale. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve hands-on work with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and ML frameworks, ensuring the development of high-quality, scalable AI models. You will also collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deploy these models on cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI solutions using ML frameworks and NLP libraries.
  • Work closely with the data science team to preprocess data, fine-tune models, and evaluate their performance.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient architectures for ML model deployment on cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using AI and develop solutions.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP, LLMs, and ML to continuously improve Weekday's AI capabilities.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug AI model performance issues and work on optimizing model efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI projects.
  • Work with the product team to integrate AI solutions into product features.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of AI models.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on NLP and LLMs.
  • Hands-on experience with Python programming and ML/NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and NLP concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying scalable ML systems.
  • Knowledge of vector databases and embedding techniques.
  • Solid programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
