About the Role
The AI Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving Storm's AI tooling operations forward. This role sits within the AI Operations team and is focused on the operational management of AI tools, platforms, and workflows used across the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.As an AI Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Storm's AI stack. This will involve working closely with teams that use AI tools day-to-day, identifying areas for improvement, and developing technical solutions to address these challenges. You will also be responsible for setting and upholding technical operational standards for AI tooling within the AI Operations team's remit.
What You Will Do
- Take operational ownership of the configuration, reliability, and technical standards of Storm's AI tools and AI platforms
- Lead the AI Operations team's technical response when AI tools, platforms, or underlying capabilities change
- Set and uphold technical operational standards for AI tooling within the AI Operations team's remit
- Improve visibility around AI tool configuration, AI platform usage, AI tool access administration, and AI platform operational performance
- Identify weak, unstable, or high-friction AI tooling operations, develop technical solutions, and drive them to be durable and scalable
- Give leadership clearer visibility on where the AI tooling stack is performing reliably, where it is fragile, and what AI platform or tooling changes are needed next
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI tools and platforms
- Develop and maintain documentation of AI tooling operations, including technical guides and training materials
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve Storm's AI operations
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in the operational management of technical platforms, specifically AI tools or AI platforms
- High agency and strong ownership of technical operational outcomes
