About the Role
The AI Product Engineer Lead Consultant role at Allstate is a unique opportunity to design, implement, and operate enterprise AI experiences and automations across Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, and the Power Platform. As a lead consultant, you will partner with security, compliance, and product stakeholders to deliver safe, scalable solutions that improve employee productivity while protecting data. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining AI-powered solutions that drive business value and support the company's digital transformation efforts.Day-to-day, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas where AI can be leveraged to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in AI, machine learning, and data analytics will be essential in driving the development of innovative solutions that meet the company's strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all AI solutions are designed with security, governance, and compliance in mind, adhering to the company's strict data protection policies.

What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, and the Power Platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for AI solutions
- Ensure all AI solutions are designed with security, governance, and compliance in mind
- Partner with security, compliance, and product stakeholders to deliver safe, scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot complex, cross-service issues related to AI solutions
- Develop and maintain API integrations using REST, OAuth2, and other protocols
- Work with data analytics teams to develop data-driven solutions that support business outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and data analytics
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise engineering, product engineering, or platform operations (Microsoft 365 / Power Platform)
- Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and Power Automate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat experiences
- Strong understanding of LLM concepts (prompt patterns, RAG, limitations) and Responsible AI practices in enterprise environments
- Security and governance experience: Entra ID app/identity concepts, permissions/consent, and information protection (Purview, DLP, labels)
- API and integration skills (REST, OAuth2) and ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-service issues
- Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into feasible solutions and to produce clear documentation/runbooks
- Experience with Excel and data analysis
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dataverse security model, custom connectors, ALM pipelines, and Power Platform Center of Excellence practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph data access patterns and M365 information architecture (SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams)
- Experience supporting Adobe Creative Cloud in an enterprise environment and understanding of content/IP governance
