About the Role
As an AI Safety Specialist at mercor, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with AI systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting red teaming exercises, analyzing vulnerabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety protocols. What You Will Do
- Conduct red teaming exercises to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems
- Analyze and document potential risks and threats to AI systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety protocols
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks and tools to identify and exploit vulnerabilities
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to develop and test AI systems
- Identify and prioritize potential risks and threats to AI systems
- Develop and maintain documentation of testing results and recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in AI safety and security
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience in AI adversarial work, cybersecurity, or socio-technical probing
- Native fluency in English and Tamil
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with red teaming, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies
- Strong understanding of AI systems and potential risks and threats
