## About the Role Amplitude is at the forefront of AI analytics, helping top companies like Atlassian, Burger King, and NBCUniversal build better products and digital experiences. As the AI Tech Partner Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the company's AI ecosystem partnerships, working closely with key partners like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind. This high-ownership, high-visibility role requires a deep understanding of the AI landscape and the ability to architect partnerships that drive product integration, co-selling motion, and joint market development.
The AI Tech Partner Lead will sit at the intersection of product, GTM, and business development, setting the direction for how Amplitude positions itself inside the AI stack. ## What You Will Do - Own the full partnership lifecycle for a portfolio of strategic AI technology partners, from initial identification and deal structuring through joint GTM execution and long-term growth - Design and operationalize repeatable GTM motions that scale beyond individual relationships, including co-sell, co-build, marketplace, and partner-led POCs - Define Amplitude's AI partner strategy, prioritizing companies and building durable commercial motion with each - Drive product integration roadmaps with partners, working directly with Amplitude's product and engineering teams to ensure deep platform embedding - Build and maintain executive relationships inside partner organizations, bringing partnership context into major deal pursuit with Amplitude's sales team and product planning process - Develop enablement programs and joint GTM materials that help partner sales and solutions teams understand Amplitude's role in the AI development workflow - Define success metrics, track partnership-influenced pipeline and revenue, and provide clear insights to Amplitude's leadership team - Stay up-to-date on the AI ecosystem, including model providers, developer tooling, AI-native apps, and agentic infrastructure
## What We Are Looking For - 7-12 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in AI, tech partnerships, or business development - Proven track record of driving business growth through partnerships, with a deep understanding of the AI ecosystem and GTM strategies - Strong executive presence, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with VP and C-level partners - Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven insights and recommendations - Experience working with AI companies, platforms, and tools, with a deep understanding of the AI development workflow - Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the tech industry and market trends
## Nice to Have - Experience working with Amplitude or similar AI analytics platforms - Strong network of contacts in the AI ecosystem, with the ability to leverage these relationships to drive business outcomes - Experience with sales and marketing automation tools, with the ability to drive efficiency and scalability in partnership workflows - Strong understanding of the AI regulatory landscape, with the ability to navigate complex compliance issues
