Job Description
About the Role
Kastle is pioneering the AI operating system for consumer lending, revolutionizing how mortgage lenders operate. As an AI Trainer, you will be integral to enhancing our AI system, ensuring it provides accurate and helpful responses to borrowers. Your day-to-day will involve annotating data from mortgage-related conversations, providing feedback on AI responses, and testing the system for quality. This role is crucial as it directly impacts the customer experience and the efficiency of mortgage servicing operations.Your work will be conducted remotely, allowing for flexible scheduling that fits your lifestyle, with the expectation of working approximately 10 hours per week. Given the nature of the role, you will be working independently but will be part of a larger team focused on AI development and training.
What You Will Do
- Annotate and label data from mortgage-related conversations to improve AI understanding.
- Give feedback on AI responses to enhance accuracy and helpfulness.
- Train the AI system to better handle mortgage servicing phone calls.
- Test the AI for issues, including response quality, customer experience, explanation quality, and realism.
- Work closely with the development team to implement changes based on your feedback.
- Participate in regular check-ins to discuss progress and challenges.
- Stay updated on mortgage industry developments to ensure the AI system remains relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with other trainers to share insights and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources for new team members.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a customer service agent for a mortgage servicing company.
- Knowledge of the mortgage industry, including escrow, payment questions, loss mitigation calls, QRPC requirements, servicing transfer questions, and customer conversations.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Reliable internet and computer for remote work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Experience with data annotation tools (training provided if necessary).
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts (not required but a plus).
Nice to Have
- 3+ years as a Mortgage Customer Service Supervisor.
- Familiarity with giving feedback to customer service agents.
- Experience in a role related to AI training or development.
- Certification in a related field (e.g., mortgage banking, customer service).
