About the Role
Rocket Lawyer is a leading online legal service platform that has helped over 30 million people create more than 50 million legal documents. As an AI UX Conversational Analyst Intern, you will join the Rocket Copilot team to help create a user-centric conversational experience. This is a high-impact role that will allow you to see your work live in a product used by millions.The Rocket Copilot team is focused on developing a conversational AI platform that can provide users with simple and affordable access to legal services. As part of this team, you will work closely with product, design, data, legal, and engineering teams to establish user-value focused research questions and assess user value and value gaps in the company's products.
The role is based in the UK and will require you to work remotely for 37.5 hours per week. You will report to the Principal Product Manager and will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to achieve the company's goals.
What You Will Do
- Review anonymized chat logs to identify areas where Rocket Copilot can improve its conversational experience
- Work with the product team to establish user-value focused research questions
- Coordinate and take notes during usability sessions with real users
- Maintain a 'Library of Truth' to document best-performing conversational patterns
- Run A/B tests to see which AI prompts provide the most helpful and engaging responses
- Create a style guide on voice and tone to help improve the conversational experience
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in user behavior
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement changes to the conversational AI platform
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in conversational AI and user experience
What We Are Looking For
- Recent graduate with a research-focused Master's degree in Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a similar field
- Analytical curiosity and a passion for digging into data to find insights
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Research background and experience with cataloging
- Familiarity with LLMs and a desire to learn professional tools
