Job Description
About the Role
The Air Operations Associate plays a key role in ensuring smooth and timely air freight movements for Flexport's customers. This involves coordinating daily with airlines, trucking partners, terminals, and internal teams.Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end air shipments, including receiving bookings and contacting shippers, consignees, and agents to arrange shipments within established SOPs.
- Input data into systems to create files, complete Master and House Air Waybills, and ensure correct and timely handling of files.
- Manage timely invoicing to clients and agents, as well as checking and confirming incoming invoices from subcontractors.
- Provide customer service by following up on customer advisories, requests, or claims and feedback to customers and overseas offices, making respective shipment arrangements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in air freight operations, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using digital tools and systems for logistics management is also essential.How to Stand Out
