About the Role
The Airbnb Assistant role at Wing Assistant is a part-time position that requires supporting guest communication, coordination, and backend tasks for a client managing a large portfolio of short-term rental properties. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest inquiries are handled promptly and efficiently. The role involves working closely with property owners, cleaners, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service.The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their digital skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities. The ability to work independently and as part of a remote team is essential, with a strong emphasis on communication and problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or messaging platforms
- Coordinate with property owners and cleaners to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Manage backend tasks, including updating property listings and calendars
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues
- Collaborate with the team to implement process improvements and optimize workflows
- Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot issues with property listings and bookings
- Maintain accurate records of guest communications and interactions
- Support the team in achieving performance targets and goals
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to improve efficiency
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with the Airbnb platform and short-term rental properties
- Technical skills, including proficiency in using a USB headset with noise cancellation, working webcam, and main and backup computers with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM
- Reliable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps wired connection and 10 Mbps backup connection
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and coordination with property owners and cleaners
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
- Experience working in a remote team environment, with a strong emphasis on independence and self-motivation
- Ability to work flexibly, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
