About the Role

The Aircraft Cabin Cleaning Agent is a crucial part of the Swissport team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of aircraft cabins. This role entails working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

As a Cabin Cleaning Agent, you will be part of a team that takes pride in their work, ensuring that every aircraft that leaves the gate is clean, safe, and ready for its next journey. You will report to the Cleaning Supervisor, who will provide guidance and support to help you excel in your role.

The aviation industry is a complex and highly regulated environment, and as such, it is essential that you are able to follow procedures, work safely, and maintain confidentiality.

What You Will Do

  • Fold blankets and restock aircraft supplies
  • Vacuum aircraft floors and wipe down surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize lavatories, including mirrors and sinks
  • Replenish seat pockets with airline materials and remove trash
  • Clean and maintain aircraft windows, including interior and exterior surfaces
  • Pick up trash and clean the aircraft cockpit
  • Wipe down and clean overhead bins and passenger food trays
  • Arrange seatbelts on seats and remove and replace audio headsets
  • Ensure deployment of the Corporate QHSE Manual and Correct Handling of International Garbage
  • Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements

  • Ability to read and write
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely within limited time frames
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible hours and project a smart, able attitude to customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow procedures
  • Knowledge of aircraft cabin layout and safety protocols
  • Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role
