About the Role
Canonical, a leading provider of open source software, is seeking an Alliances Field Engineer to support major partners in adopting our platforms.Responsibilities
- Support OEM, GSI, ISV, Channel partners, and Public Cloud alliance partners in adopting Canonical's products and technologies
- Help business leaders define joint go-to-market programs with partners from a technical standpoint
- Apply expert insights to real-world customer problems, enabling enterprise adoption of Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes, AI/MLOps, and associated technologies
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and open source technologies
- Ability to learn and speak the language of customers and their industries
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud native operations, and open source applications
