Amazon Forecasting Analyst

About the Role

The analyst will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and forward-thinking. The role reports to the senior management team, ensuring that forecasting insights are integrated into strategic decision-making processes.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain complex forecasting models to predict sales and revenue
• Analyze historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market research to inform forecasting decisions
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand sales strategies and incorporate them into forecasts
• Work with the marketing team to align forecasting with marketing campaigns and product launches
• Manage and maintain databases and systems related to forecasting and sales analysis
• Develop and present reports and insights to senior management and other stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis to refine forecasting models
• Participate in budgeting and planning processes to ensure alignment with forecasting insights
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in forecasting, sales analysis, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
• Experience with forecasting software and tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and their application in forecasting
• Experience working in a remote setting and managing digital workflows effectively
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, or Mathematics
