About the Role

The AMERICAS Commercial Sales Leader role at GE Vernova is a critical position that will drive commercial growth strategy for the company's Power and Energy Resources Software division. As a seasoned commercial leader, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team across the AMERICAS region, driving profitable growth, and delivering on business priorities. What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and execution of commercial growth strategies for the AMERICAS region
  • Drive profitable growth and customer value through the sale of software solutions
  • Lead a high-performing sales team across the AMERICAS region, providing coaching, performance management, and development activities
  • Build strong relationships with C-suite customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive commercial excellence
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and revenue projections
  • Lead the cultivation of a customer-focused business rooted in value selling behaviors
  • Champion messaging and educate key stakeholders on how to evolve and position enterprise solutions effectively
  • Create partnerships and generate creative solutions to address complex projects
  • Evaluate the quality of information received and question conflicting data for analysis
  • Use multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial sales leadership, preferably in the energy industry
  • Proven track record of driving profitable growth and customer value through the sale of software solutions
  • Experience leading high-performing sales teams across regions
  • Strong relationships with C-suite customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue projections
  • Proficiency in Excel and other sales tools
