About the Role
The AMERICAS Commercial Sales Leader will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth for GE Vernova's Power and Energy Resources Software. This position entails developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy to position and amplify Asset Intelligence - APM Software Solutions, driving profitable growth, and leading enterprise selling efforts. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing commercial sales organization across the AMERICAS region, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on business priorities.As a key member of the leadership team, the AMERICAS Commercial Sales Leader will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with C-suite customers, identifying new revenue streams, and driving commercial excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy sector, including the oil and gas, power, and other attractive energy markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving commercial growth, leading high-performing sales teams, and developing strategic partnerships.
The AMERICAS Commercial Sales Leader will report to the senior leadership team and will be responsible for leading a team of experienced sales professionals. The role will require close collaboration with various stakeholders, including solution architects, product managers, and marketing teams.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial growth strategy to drive profitable growth and customer value
- Lead a high-performing commercial sales organization across the AMERICAS region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on business priorities
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams across various energy segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite customers
- Develop and execute strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
- Drive commercial excellence and customer value
- Lead growth programs for funnel generation and key account management
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines
- Collaborate with solution architects and product managers to develop and position Asset Intelligence software solutions
What We Are Looking For
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college
- Proven experience in commercial sales leadership, preferably in the energy sector
- Strong understanding of the energy market, including oil and gas, power, and other attractive energy segments
- Experience in developing and executing commercial growth strategies
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead high-performing sales teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and develop creative solutions
- Experience with Excel and other sales tools

- Experience in the software industry, preferably in the energy sector
