What You Will Do
- Assemble models of different vehicle subsystems, from simple to complex systems
- Evaluate the quality of mesh and properties, ensuring coherence and accuracy
- Generate acoustic cavities, respecting measurement points and positions
- Integrate subsystems and assemble models, including BIW, TBIW, and full vehicle
- Perform modal analysis, frequency response functions, and dynamic stiffness analysis
- Analyze powertrain noise, road noise, and interior noise, identifying transfer paths and optimizing designs
- Use Nastran solvers, including SOL101, SOL103, SOL108, and SOL111
- Post-process results, interpreting data and identifying modes in BIW and TBIW models
- Present results and recommendations to stakeholders, including reports and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including testing and validation teams
- Investigate root causes of issues, using CAE and testing data to inform decisions
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in CAE, with a focus on vehicle safety and NVH analysis
- Strong knowledge of finite element analysis, including meshing, contact, and non-linearity
- Experience with pre-processing tools like ANSA or HyperMesh
- Experience with post-processing tools like META or HyperView
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced English skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and results
- Experience with other solvers, such as Abaqus or Nastran, is a plus
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or TCL is desirable
Nice to Have
- Experience with correlation CAE x testing, including data analysis and validation
- Familiarity with high-performance computing environments, including cluster or cloud
- Knowledge of Spanish, in addition to English, is a plus
- Experience with other industries, such as aerospace or industrial equipment, is desirable
