About the Role

Affirm is seeking a driven and thoughtful Analyst II, Credit Risk to join their team. The Credit team works closely with various departments to manage the risk profile of the business, enabling sustainable growth while maintaining profitability and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage experimentation and advanced data analytics to derive insights and optimize credit underwriting
  • Determine and optimize purchasing power to balance risk and growth
  • Play a pivotal role in underwriting cost savings, managing risk, and improving profitability
  • Support the launch of new products by designing and implementing credit strategies
  • Partner with Machine Learning and Engineering teams on building effective credit risk capabilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience as a data analyst or data scientist, preferably in consumer credit risk management
