About the Role

The Analyst, Procurement role at CyrusOne is a critical component of the company's global procurement team, responsible for driving efficient supply chain operations and supporting the delivery of state-of-the-art data centers. What You Will Do

  • Design and maintain analytical models to assess supplier pricing, monitor inventory trends, and evaluate product lead times
  • Deconstruct complex supply chain challenges to identify root causes and develop actionable solutions
  • Cultivate and manage supplier relationships, including leading identification and resolution of issues
  • Conduct supplier site visits to audit and verify performance
  • Maintain and track key data inputs, such as delivery dates, equipment specifications, and open supply chain issues
  • Craft compelling presentations and written communications to clearly articulate problem statements, analyses, and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with engineering and construction teams to ensure timely equipment delivery to critical development projects
  • Support and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on analysis structure and communications
  • Manage deliverable timelines, ensuring that key deliverables and requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to improve and innovate team processes, reducing the burden of repeatable tasks and enhancing team cohesion

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Proven professional excellence and leadership experience in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence across various stakeholder groups
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships and develop others in the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis and modeling
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a global procurement environment, with knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Alteryx, and other data analytics tools
  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in data centers, procurement, or supply chain operations
  • Experience with supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
