About the Role
The Analytics Engineer role at FlowMo is a unique opportunity for a skilled data modeling expert to join a team of innovators building AI systems that transform business data into actionable insights. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for taking messy data and producing answers quickly using data modeling best practices. You will work closely with the core product team and founders to drive business growth and improvement.The role is part of a small, fast-moving team where independence, speed, and ownership are essential. What You Will Do
- Build data models using SQL and DBT/LookML-style logic to drive business insights
- Answer core business questions such as CAC, LTV, attribution, and revenue drivers
- Debug and fix broken or incomplete datasets to ensure data integrity
- Translate business questions into structured data models to drive business growth
- Iterate quickly and improve outputs over time to meet business needs
- Ship usable results fast, not perfect results slowly, to drive business decisions
- Work with the core product team and founders to drive business growth and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business questions
- Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence and analytics
What We Are Looking For
- 2-5+ years of experience working in data modeling in a business context
- Experience with data modeling tools such as DBT, LookML, or similar
- Comfortable working with messy or incomplete data to drive insights
- Strong written and spoken English to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to work overlapping U.S. hours (EST) to collaborate with the team
- Ability to operate independently with minimal structure and high accountability
- Strong foundation in SQL and data modeling best practices
- Experience with data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
