About the Role

The Apparel - Sourcing Manager for Women's Woven Tops is a critical role at Quince, responsible for building and leading the company's sourcing operation for this high-impact category. This involves identifying and onboarding new vendor partners, driving excellence in partner operations, and expanding the supplier base to improve product costs, quality, and commercial terms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of category manufacturing, strong vendor relationships, and the operational rigor to scale new supply chains.

As a key member of the apparel team, the Sourcing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. This role will focus primarily on the Women's Woven Top category, with potential expansion into other categories, offering a unique opportunity to own and build a sourcing operation from scratch.

What You Will Do

  • Scout for vendor partners in NE & EU who can manufacture high-quality Women's Woven Top products with fast production lead times
  • Pitch and onboard vendor partners, ensuring they meet clear criteria around the initial test period and can scale if successful
  • Drive excellence in partner operations for existing supplier relationships, improving Quince's product costs, quality, and commercial terms
  • Manage capacity at a supplier and style level to keep pace with company growth and scale
  • Source materials that can effectively improve product cost, quality, and speed
  • Negotiate with suppliers throughout the supply chain, from T1 to T2 & T3 mill/vendor partners
  • Develop and maintain a validated cost structure/template to negotiate with vendor partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and market conditions to inform sourcing strategies

  • Experience with open costing and negotiating with suppliers
