About the Role
The Application Product Manager position at Celonis is a crucial role that focuses on developing and managing innovative solutions for Accounts Payable processes. As a key member of the Finance team, you will work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to identify pain points and create meaningful products that drive business value. With a strong emphasis on customer-centricity and collaboration, this role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about finance, technology, and process improvement.Day-to-day, you will be involved in all stages of the product development lifecycle, from ideation to scaling solutions. Your expertise in data analysis, particularly with Excel, will be invaluable in driving insights and informing product decisions. The role also requires close collaboration with the UX team to define the user experience for Celonis' Business Apps, ensuring that solutions are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the evolving needs of customers.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with customers to understand their pain points in Accounts Payable and develop tailored solutions
- Develop and manage Business Apps that address key challenges in the finance domain
- Utilize the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform to build innovative solutions and drive process efficiency
- Collaborate with platform product managers and engineers to guide feature development and ensure alignment with customer needs
- Define the user experience for Celonis' products, working closely with the UX team
- Conduct data analysis to inform product decisions and measure solution effectiveness
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in process mining and finance
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders and executive leadership
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Implementation Consulting, Business Analytics, or comparable roles
- Expertise in data analysis, including proficiency in Excel, SQL, PQL, and Python
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems and their respective Accounts Payable modules
- Strong project management skills, with excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Creativity in problem-solving, with a solution-oriented and self-motivated approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customers and stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, with German being a plus
- Strong understanding of finance processes, particularly in Accounts Payable
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of process mining and its applications in finance
- Certification in project management or a related field
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
