About the Role
The Appointment Setter position at Octotasker is a remote opportunity for experienced sales professionals to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth. As an Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for generating leads and booking appointments for the sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly motivated, and have excellent communication skills.The sales team at Octotasker is composed of certified professionals who have undergone rigorous training through the company's Call Center Academy. This training program equips team members with the skills necessary to succeed in their roles, including cold calling, CRM management, and script delivery. As an Appointment Setter, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
What You Will Do
- Dial 200+ qualified prospects daily using an auto-dialer
- Book 3-5 appointments per shift, with a target of 20-30 appointments per week
- Follow a proven script and update the CRM only for booked calls
- Participate in daily 30-minute Zoom huddles for coaching and leaderboard updates
- Consistently meet KPIs, including contact ratio, conversion percentage, and quality scores
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve targets and share best practices
- Utilize digital tools, such as CRM software, to manage leads and track progress
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continually improve sales techniques
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in outbound phone sales, including BPO or collections
- Fluency in English, with a minimum C1/C2 level
- A laptop or desktop computer with at least 8 GB of RAM, a USB headset, and backup power or a hotspot
- Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps up and 50 Mbps down
- Ability to work in a remote environment and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with sales software, such as CRM systems
- Familiarity with power dialers, such as VICIdial
