About the Role

As an Appointment Setter at Octotasker, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by booking appointments with potential clients. You will be working remotely, utilizing digital tools to connect with clients and leverage your skills to achieve success.

The role of an Appointment Setter is multifaceted, requiring a unique blend of sales, communication, and technical skills. You will be working closely with a team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Your day-to-day activities will include dialing qualified prospects, updating CRM systems, and participating in daily Zoom huddles to discuss progress and receive coaching.

Through its Call Center Academy, you will have access to a 3-week certification program that covers cold calling, CRM usage, script delivery, and live simulations. This comprehensive training will equip you with the skills and confidence to excel in your role.

What You Will Do

  • Dial 200+ qualified prospects daily using an auto-dialer
  • Book 3-5 appointments per shift, with a goal of 20-30 appointments per week
  • Follow a proven script and update CRM systems for booked calls
  • Participate in daily 30-minute Zoom huddles for coaching and leaderboard updates
  • Consistently meet or exceed KPIs, including contact ratio, conversion percentage, and quality scores
  • Utilize digital tools to connect with clients and drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve performance

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound phone sales, with a background in BPO or collections
  • Fluent English skills, with a minimum proficiency level of C1/C2
  • Reliable laptop or desktop with 8 GB RAM, USB headset, and backup power or hotspot
  • High-speed internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps up and 50 Mbps down
  • Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting or exceeding targets

Nice to Have

  • Experience in sales for home services, solar, roofing, or similar industries
  • Familiarity with VICIdial or other power dialers
  • Competitive and coachable, with a strong desire to succeed and grow
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in sales or a related field
