## About the Role As an Area Business Manager at Sanofi, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and promoting the company's portfolio of transformative therapies. You will be responsible for engaging with allergists, pulmonologists, and other key customers, presenting clinically focused selling messages, and developing strategic business plans to generate product utilization. As a key member of the sales team, you will report to a senior sales manager and work closely with other field-based stakeholders, including medical science liaisons, field access specialists, and market access teammates. Your territory will include the Houston Central area, where you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying market dynamics, and developing strategies to support brand and corporate objectives.

## What You Will Do - Engage with allergists, pulmonologists, and other key customers to present clinically focused selling messages and drive sales growth - Develop strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business - Identify key opportunities and develop strategies to support brand and corporate objectives - Collaborate with other field-based stakeholders to proactively address customer needs and identify market dynamics - Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities - Maximize budget allocated to the geographic territory to support execution of strategies and tactics - Participate and help lead initiatives to support sales success, including industry-related congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences - Establish relationships with large group practices and other key targets to drive overall product results - Coordinate with thought leader liaisons and patient advocacy support groups to develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives

## What We Are Looking For - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or life sciences - Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on rare diseases and immunology - Strong understanding of the immune system and the pharmaceutical industry - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong digital skills, including proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools - Experience with budget management and strategic planning - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

## Nice to Have - Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business or life sciences - Experience with sales force automation software and data analytics tools - Knowledge of the Houston Central market and key customers - Certification in sales or marketing, such as the Certified National Pharmaceutical Representative (CNPR) designation
