About the Role

The Area Sales Manager position at Ametek is a critical role that involves managing all aspects of the sales process for a defined territory. What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related field from an accredited educational institution
  • At least 3 years of direct sales experience in a related industry
  • Knowledge of the operating principles and application of BLDC, brushed, and stepper motors, motor drives, lead screws, and linear actuators
  • Familiarity with general engineering concepts of linear and rotary motion and power transfer
  • Experience with Windows-based PCs and programs (MS Office suite of programs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events
