About the Role

The Area Sales Manager position at Revvity is a pivotal role that entails driving sales growth, gaining market share, and meeting targets within an assigned area in India. As a key member of the sales team, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Increase sales volumes and achieve sales targets in line with Revvity's Genomics strategy
  • Develop and execute sales plans to expand existing accounts and acquire new ones within the assigned territory
  • Identify customer needs and present Revvity products and services to meet those needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and partners
  • Develop and maintain accurate account mappings and customer information
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Represent Revvity at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  • Create detailed proposal documents as part of the sales process
  • Review and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

What We Are Looking For

  • Any graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Science or Business Development
  • 4-8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding existing accounts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel within India
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a customer-centric approach
