About the Role
Maker Lab is seeking a talented Art Director to join their team and lead social-first campaigns for a leading QSR brand. As a culturally tuned Art Director, you will be responsible for blending insight-led thinking and hands-on execution to turn briefs into engaging ideas shaped by culture, trends, and audience behavior across platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, social strategists, and designers, to develop integrated creative solutions that elevate the brand and drive results.The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating integrated campaign thinking, social-first creativity, and high-quality visual execution. You will be expected to stay tuned into social trends, internet culture, and platform behaviors to inspire relevant creative work and ensure that all creative outputs are aligned to brand guidelines while supporting the evolution of brand expression.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to campaign ideation and support the development of social-first creative concepts across always-on content, campaigns, and activations
- Translate ideas into strong visual directions, key visuals, layouts, and content assets across digital platforms
- Collaborate with copywriters, social strategists, and cross-functional teams to develop integrated creative solutions
- Create and adapt visual assets for social, digital, CRM, and occasional offline touchpoints
- Stay tuned into social trends, internet culture, and platform behaviors to inspire relevant creative work
- Ensure creative outputs are aligned to brand guidelines while supporting the evolution of brand expression
- Support the execution of campaigns from concept through to delivery, ensuring consistency and quality
- Work closely with stakeholders to interpret briefs and refine creative outputs based on feedback
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and craft quality
- Support internal reviews and quality checks to ensure all deliverables meet creative standards
What We Are Looking For
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in an Art Director, Designer, or Social Creative role
- A strong portfolio demonstrating integrated campaign thinking, social-first creativity, and high-quality visual execution
- Deep understanding of social platforms, digital culture, and audience behavior
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking, creative ideation, and hands-on execution
- Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to bring ideas to life across multiple formats and touchpoints
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and navigating stakeholder feedback
- Experience working within agency, social, integrated marketing, or in-house creative environments
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with decentralised technology and collaborative client relationships
- Knowledge of the latest design tools and software, including Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with project management tools and workflows
