About the Role
The Assistant ARFF role at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is a critical position responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel. As a key member of the airport's emergency response team, the successful candidate will be required to respond promptly to a variety of emergency situations, including aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials incidents. What You Will Do
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials incidents
- Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain inventory of firefighting supplies and equipment, ensuring their readiness for use
- Participate in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills
- Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive
- Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities as needed
- Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs for regulatory audits
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines related to firefighting and emergency response
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in emergency response, firefighting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of firefighting techniques, including the use of water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an airport environment or with aviation-related emergency services
- Certification in emergency medical services (EMS) or a related field
- Knowledge of ICAO regulations and guidelines related to airport emergency response
