About the Role
The Assistant Director of Group Health plays a critical role in driving client satisfaction and growth for Dane Street's Group Health Division. As a seasoned healthcare leader, you will oversee the operations management team, ensuring seamless delivery of key client metrics, including Turnaround Time (TAT), Quality, and P2P success. Your expertise in utilization management and team leadership will be essential in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent.Day-to-day, you will work closely with the Group Health Operations Teams to drive internal and external quality audits, recommend process improvements, and develop initiatives to enhance technology usage. Your ability to analyze complex data, think critically, and communicate effectively will be invaluable in this role.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will report to senior management and collaborate with the National Medical Director to develop and manage the physician panel. Your input will be crucial in shaping the division's strategy and driving business growth.
What You Will Do
- Oversee the delivery of key client metrics, including TAT, Quality, and P2P success
- Lead the Operations Management Team and ensure seamless operational procedures
- Attract, recruit, and retain top talent for the Group Health Division
- Collaborate with the Group Health Operations Teams on internal and external quality audits
- Recommend process improvements and develop initiatives to enhance technology usage
- Reconcile client outcomes reports and issue logs
- Manage the overall Profit and Loss of the Group Health Division
- Work with the National Medical Director to develop and manage the physician panel
- Develop and implement strategies to drive client satisfaction and business growth
- Analyze complex data to inform business decisions
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and senior management
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience managing a team of Utilization Management (UM) Nurses at a Health plan or IRO
- RN (preferably BSN or higher)
- Experience working with Utilization Management standards and guidelines
- Proven leadership skills, with experience leading an operational unit/division
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet specific deadlines
- Computer literacy and typing skills
- Experience with digital tools and technology
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and software
- Certification in a related field (e.g., utilization management, quality improvement)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
