About the Role

As an Assistant Insurance Product Manager II at GEICO, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's profitable growth and innovation. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in insurance product management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry. What You Will Do

  • Manage state-specific markets to meet profitability targets and drive growth
  • Develop and execute product strategies, including pricing and non-pricing decisions
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other company leaders to implement changes that enhance the customer experience
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitors to identify opportunities and threats
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulators, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Manage rate filings and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of department and corporate initiatives
  • Advocate on behalf of the company with regulators and consultants
  • Implement product changes effectively and in compliance with laws and regulations
  • Manage and analyze large datasets to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of insurance regulation and related business constraints
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with product management concepts and techniques
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or economics
  • Working knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills

  • Master's degree in business or a related field
  • Industry designations, such as FCAS, ACAS, or CPCU
