About the Role

The Associate Account Strategist role at New Engen's Donut Studios is a critical position that supports key client engagements. As a member of this dynamic team, you will work closely with Account Strategists, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Donut Studios, as an in-house creative studio, is dedicated to crafting high-performing, platform-native, and digital content for the world's most ambitious brands. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining strong client relationships, organizing project workflows, and supporting the delivery of creative assets.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative group of strategists, content creators, copywriters, editors, designers, account managers, and more, all working together to help brands thrive. New Engen's approach to integrating media, creative, analytics, influencer, and retail strategies into performance-driven campaigns sets it apart as a leader in digital marketing. Your work will contribute directly to the success of these campaigns and the growth of New Engen's clients.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the Account Strategist with day-to-day client communication, including preparing meeting materials and drafting status updates.
  • Help maintain project documentation, account resources, client wikis, and internal trackers to ensure all teams have accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support the creative delivery process by tracking deliverables across multiple campaigns and coordinating project intake with Project Managers.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or blockers, and proactively communicate these to the team to prevent delays.
  • Review assets before delivery to ensure they meet project requirements and follow established processes.
  • Collaborate across teams, including Project Management, Creative Strategy, designers, copywriters, and production teams, to keep communication clear and projects moving forward.
  • Build your knowledge of creative production, client services, and enterprise marketing, taking on increasing ownership and responsibility as you grow.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple projects and competing priorities with strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in an account coordination, client services, marketing, or agency support role, preferably within a digital marketing, creative, or advertising agency.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
  • Experience working with project management platforms such as Asana or similar collaboration tools.
  • A proactive attitude with the confidence to ask questions, solve problems, and follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote environment while working across multiple time zones.
  • Must reside or work within the Eastern Time Zone.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to creative production, content, video, or design workflows.
  • Experience with tools such as Frame.io, Figma, Airtable, Workfront, or Box.
  • Familiarity with B2B, SaaS, technology, or enterprise clients.
  • Experience supporting paid media, content marketing, or growth marketing programs.
