About the Role
As an Associate Consultant at Clarivate, you will be an integral part of the Product and Portfolio Strategy Consulting Team, working closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions in the life sciences and healthcare industry. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing complex data sets, and developing actionable recommendations for clients. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the market.The role requires a unique blend of analytical, creative, and communication skills, as you will be working with various stakeholders, including clients, industry experts, and internal teams. Your insights and recommendations will have a direct impact on clients' commercial strategies, new product planning, and market access decisions.
What You Will Do
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data and insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast sales, revenue, and market growth
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform client strategies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop customized solutions, and present findings and recommendations
- Develop and deliver high-quality client presentations, reports, and other materials
- Engage in business development efforts, including proposal development, pitch books, and responding to RFPs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that impact the life sciences and healthcare sector
- Contribute to internal initiatives, such as process improvements, knowledge sharing, and training programs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry experts, and internal teams
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a related field within the life sciences or healthcare industry
- Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD) in a relevant field is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and market research
- Strong understanding of the life sciences and healthcare industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events (up to 20%)
Nice to Have
- Direct experience working with biopharma or life sciences customers
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R
- Certification in data analysis, financial modeling, or a related field
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello
