About the Role
The Associate Director of Adobe Target at Bounteous will play a pivotal role in establishing and operating an enterprise-wide experimentation Center of Excellence (COE). This involves defining and maintaining the Adobe Target operating model, governance framework, and standards to ensure the effective use of the platform across various teams. The role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to enable ecommerce and digital teams to design, launch, and scale experimentation and personalization programs independently.The COE will operate within clear governance, quality, and measurement standards, ensuring that all experimentation and personalization activities meet the highest standards of statistical rigor and business impact. As the platform owner and internal consultant, the Associate Director will provide the necessary frameworks, guardrails, consulting, and enablement to scale Adobe Target across teams, driving business success through enhanced customer engagement and personalized experiences.
Given the critical nature of this role, the successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including ecommerce and digital teams, analytics teams, and senior leadership, to align Adobe Target activities with business objectives and measurement frameworks.
What You Will Do
- Define and maintain the Adobe Target operating model, governance framework, and standards
- Establish best practices for activity setup, audiences, offers, workspaces, and permissions
- Develop and enforce QA, launch readiness, and risk management processes
- Act as a point of escalation for complex or high-risk experiments
- Manage multiple teams within the organization in Target adoption and maturity assessment
- Partner with ecommerce and digital teams to provide consultation on KPI selection and success metrics
- Support teams across the full experimentation lifecycle: design, build, QA, launch, and readout
- Host office hours and intake sessions to guide teams toward self-sufficiency
- Ensure experiments meet statistical rigor and measurement standards
- Review test results and guide teams on decision-making and next steps
- Conduct regular audits of live and completed activities to ensure quality and consistency
- Partner with analytics teams to align Adobe Target activities with measurement frameworks and business KPIs
- Support test readouts, learnings documentation, and experimentation reporting
- Monitor experimentation program health (velocity, win rate, impact, adoption)
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tooling, and usage over time
- Develop and deliver role-based Adobe Target training (beginner to advanced)
- Create self-service documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guides
- Support onboarding of new teams into Adobe Target
- Drive adoption through education, socialization, and experimentation showcases
- Support adoption of Adobe Target Premium capabilities, including Auto-Target and Auto-Allocate, Experience Targeting, and AI-driven optimization
