About the Role

The Associate Director, Growth Marketing - Innovative Channels will play a crucial role in driving customer acquisition through strategic and innovative approaches. This high-impact, high-autonomy role requires a professional with strong marketing fundamentals, sharp analytical instincts, and creative vision to find Jerry's next big growth levers. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP of Growth and the executive team, with significant CEO visibility and real influence over where Jerry grows next.

As a key member of the growth team, the Associate Director will be responsible for launching and scaling new customer acquisition channels, including affiliates, direct mail, social platforms, and emerging ad networks. This will involve researching, prioritizing, and iterating across a diverse mix of paid and partnership-based channels.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performance or growth marketing, with meaningful exposure across multiple channels. They will be well-versed in marketing fundamentals, including audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative development, and landing page optimization.

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end channel expansion: research, prioritize, launch, and iterate across a diverse mix of paid and partnership-based channels
  • Shape the innovative channel roadmap: identifying the highest-potential opportunities and making the strategic case for where Jerry should invest next
  • Apply strong marketing fundamentals: audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative development, and landing page optimization across varied and novel channel contexts
  • Pioneer the adoption of AI agents in marketing operations: identify where AI can accelerate testing, automate workflows, and unlock capabilities that weren't previously possible
  • Design and execute rigorous experiments: form hypotheses, define success metrics, run tests, interpret results, and scale what works
  • Analyze performance across full-funnel metrics: CAC, LTV, ROAS, incrementality, and translate data into clear strategic recommendations that influence resource allocation and company priorities
  • Partner closely with product, data, and creative teams to build the infrastructure and assets that make new channels succeed
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Jerry's customer acquisition landscape, including market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, with meaningful exposure across multiple channels
  • Strong marketing fundamentals: audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative development, and landing page optimization
  • Experience with channel expansion: launching and scaling new customer acquisition channels
  • Sharp analytical instincts: ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights
  • Creative vision: ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to marketing challenges
  • Experience with AI agents in marketing operations: ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption and implement AI-driven solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills: ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
