About the Role
The Associate Director, K-12 role at College Board is a remote, full-time position that requires a unique blend of sales expertise, technical skills, and a deep understanding of the education sector. As a key member of the Southwest Regional K-12 team, you will be responsible for driving growth and achieving sales goals for College Board programs and services within an assigned territory. You will work closely with district leaders, educators, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive adoption of College Board programs.The team at College Board is a high-performing, mission-driven group of professionals who are passionate about expanding access to education and improving student outcomes. As a consultative sales team, you will be expected to take a strategic, data-informed approach to managing territories, building pipelines, and advancing opportunities from initial engagement through long-term partnership.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for College Board programs and services within an assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials, including district leaders, educators, and other stakeholders
- Conduct strategic account planning and sales execution to drive growth and adoption of College Board programs
- Utilize Salesforce, Adjust, and Excel to manage sales data, track progress, and analyze trends
- Collaborate with senior leaders on complex or large-scale opportunities
- Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to support sales efforts
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the education sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and a pipeline of opportunities to drive adoption and revenue growth
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of College Board programs and services, including the SAT Suite of Assessments, Advanced Placement, and BigFuture
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, education, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in driving growth and adoption of education programs or services
- Strong understanding of the education sector, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
- Experience with Salesforce, Adjust, and Excel, or similar technologies
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate complex sales cycles
- Commitment to the mission and values of College Board, with a passion for expanding access to education and improving student outcomes
Nice to Have
- Experience working with district leaders, educators, and other stakeholders in the education sector
- Knowledge of education technology, including learning management systems, online learning platforms, and other digital tools
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including the ability to drive insights and recommendations
- Certification in sales, education, or a related field
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
