About the Role

The Associate Director, Paid Search & Social position at Directive is a critical role that involves leading paid media campaigns to drive client growth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for setting goals, ensuring best practices, and breaking down barriers to success. Directive is a performance marketing agency that specializes in working with SaaS and tech companies. The company has developed a unique marketing methodology called Customer Generation, which prioritizes generating SQLs and customers over traditional metrics. As an Associate Director, you will be part of a team that values creativity, strategy, and results.

What You Will Do

  • Set goals for every client engagement in your pod, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's overall objectives
  • Ensure that every client follows best practices across all channels and mediums, including LTV:CAC modeling, customer generation, share of SERP, and functional content
  • Break down barriers to success, supporting your strategists in earning approval for campaigns and ensuring that roadblocks are addressed
  • Build structure, create a cadence, and support your team proactively, empowering them with clear and concise communication and expectation setting
  • Drive client growth and results, focusing on NSM attainment, CSAT, and bookings
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, including actively learning about AI and automation in marketing and operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, and revenue operations
  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies that drive client growth
  • Analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple channels, including Google Ads and Meta

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in paid media, with a focus on paid search and social
  • Proven track record of driving client growth and results in a paid media role
  • Expertise in paid media platforms, including Google Ads and Meta
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage a team
  • Experience with LTV:CAC modeling, customer generation, and share of SERP
  • Familiarity with AI and automation in marketing and operations

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with SaaS and tech companies
  • Familiarity with directive's customer generation methodology
  • Certification in paid media, such as Google Ads or Meta
  • Experience with campaign management tools, such as Asana or Trello
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
