About the Role
The Associate, Lifecycle Marketing, Retail role at DoorDash is a unique opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about creating lasting relationships with customers. As a key member of the New Verticals retention team, you will focus on developing and executing CRM strategies that drive growth and retention for emerging lines of business. Your expertise in data analysis, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration will be essential in driving the success of this role.The mission of the Retention Marketing team is to build lasting relationships with audiences by providing them with personalized, cross-channel experiences that delight and drive them to return to DoorDash. As a strategic and creative thinker, you will be responsible for launching and iterating on CRM programs that drive growth and retention for new business lines, such as Grocery and Beauty.
You will report to the Manager of Lifecycle on New Verticals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including strategy and operations, brand, product marketing, and analytics.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute CRM campaign strategies across the customer lifecycle, including offer, cadence, and audience testing
- Analyze the impact of initiatives on key business metrics, such as order rate and revenue
- Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing function to develop campaign strategy briefs based on business needs and audience behavior
- Partner with Marketing Ops counterparts to build, QA, and launch campaigns
- Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including Creative Studio, Promo Strategy, Product, Operations, Analytics, and Strategy teams
- Manage email reporting dashboards, monitor trends, and make data-informed recommendations
- Stay current on marketing best practices in email, push, and SMS, and share learnings and insights with the broader marketing team
- Work closely with Lifecycle Marketing Managers to increase personalization and relevance within audience lifecycles
- Consult and oversee strategy for various Cx workstreams
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in CRM or email marketing
- Deep familiarity with CRM technology, including ESPs and marketing automation platforms
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and data visualization platforms, such as Tableau or Periscope
- Knowledge of email industry best practices, including contact strategies, targeting, and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics
- Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and ability to multi-task
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce or Marketo
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript
