About the Role

The Associate Medical Writer role at Precision AQ is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values accuracy, quality, and collaboration. As a key member of the Clinical Services team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, medically accurate content that meets the needs of various stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will include writing, revising, and annotating promotional medical content, ensuring that all materials are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, regulatory, and marketing, to ensure that all content is aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in this role, as you will need to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

What You Will Do

  • Support the development of high-quality, medically accurate derivative content in print or digital format for a limited range of medical communication resources
  • Deliver requested projects per established timelines, ensuring that all deadlines are met and quality standards are exceeded
  • Assist with literature reviews to support promotional claims in a variety of promotional medical education and marketing resources
  • Annotate resources and provide appropriate references for the Clinical Services team
  • Search, organize, and prepare references and referencing materials for projects to prepare for medical, regulatory, and legal submissions
  • Ensure professional, proactive, and collaborative communication with internal stakeholders
  • Participate in all internal team meetings, including project kick-off meetings, weekly status meetings, client meetings, and internal brainstorm/review meetings
  • Develop working knowledge of AMA-style and brand guidelines
  • Promote and adhere to Precision AQ's workplace values, known as PRECISION Principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all content is aligned with the company's strategic objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging therapies to ensure that all content is current and relevant

What We Are Looking For

  • BA/BS in life sciences or English, combined with at least one year of experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications, or related field
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Familiarity with AMA-style guidelines and brand regulations
  • Experience with literature reviews and annotations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
