About the Role

As an Associate Mental Health Therapist at Pinwheel Health, you will play a critical role in delivering evidence-based virtual therapy interventions to youth and families. What You Will Do

  • Deliver weekly evidence-based virtual therapy interventions to youth ages 6-17
  • Provide support for caregivers and family involvement as needed
  • Utilize standardized assessment measures and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions for depression, anxiety, and trauma
  • Monitor client progress through treatment goals and assessments
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and session notes promptly
  • Participate in individual or group supervision
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of pediatric mental health
  • Utilize digital health tools and platforms to deliver high-quality care
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's degree in Clinical Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • LCSW or MHC-A in Rhode Island
  • Experience working with youth or delivering CBT
  • Tech-savvy and enthusiastic about digital health tools
  • Must have or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance
  • English language proficiency; Spanish a plus and other languages welcome
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care
