What You Will Do
- Record daily journal entries and review cash reporting activities to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages for management approval, including financial statements and investor reports
- Prepare capital calls and distribution calculations for management review, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Coordinate the delivery of capital call and distribution notices to clients and investors, maintaining strong communication and relationships
- Prepare and review correspondence with investors to address inquiries and provide timely responses
- Manage and maintain client investor portals, ensuring data accuracy and security
- Coordinate and complete special projects assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required, supporting the team and contributing to the company's success
- Work Pacific Time Zone (PST) business hours, collaborating with global teams and adapting to a dynamic environment
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (BBA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices
- 0-1 year of experience in public accounting, investment banking, financial services, or demonstrated interest in private equity fund operations and accounting
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Nice to Have
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise
- Experience with Investran or other partnership accounting software, providing a strong foundation in fund accounting and investor services
