About the Role
The Associate Program Manager position at AmerisourceBergen is a critical role that involves overseeing various healthcare projects and ensuring their successful execution. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a territory caseworker assignment, monitoring protocol adherence, and documenting case files. The role requires strong analytical and mathematical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The Associate Program Manager will work closely with the manager and other team members to identify training needs, lead refresher training, and participate in the hiring and training process of new staff. The role also involves daily and ongoing client project communications, assistance, and backup to the manager, as well as client reporting.
What You Will Do
- Maintain a territory caseworker assignment and ensure ongoing maintenance of assigned projects
- Monitor protocol adherence and document case files (electronic and hard files)
- Use databases and ensure accuracy of information collected
- Make phone calls to verify the accuracy of content and demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette
- Participate in client consultations and working sessions in collaboration with the manager or in the manager's absence
- Identify training needs based on monitoring and lead refresher training as required
- Participate in the hiring and training process of new staff
- Identify needs for modification of program databases, protocols, and current processes
- Communicate with clients on a daily and ongoing basis
- Assist and provide backup to the manager
- Report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments
What We Are Looking For
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry (or similar)
- RN/RPN license (an asset)
- Bilingualism (French/English) (an asset)
- Project management experience (an asset)
- Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint)
- Strong proficiency in database management
- Experience with client reporting and project management tools
