About the Role

The Associate, Quality Strategy & Operations role at DoorDash is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is redefining the way quality is measured and assured across the entire business. As a key member of the Performance Excellence team, you will be working closely with various stakeholders, including Product, Risk, Machine Learning, and Operations, to design, rollout, and continuously improve QA systems that have a direct impact on customer experience.

This role is ideal for individuals who are highly structured, able to manage ambiguity, and execute with precision. You will be responsible for scoping needs, supporting execution, and building structures that enable the scaling of quality programs across the business. Your work will directly contribute to how DoorDash measures performance, resolution, and experience at scale.

What You Will Do

  • Support the strategy and operational rollout of Gen-AI based QA systems for customer support
  • Work cross-functionally to turn high-level goals into structured workflows and requirements
  • Build frameworks, documentation, and reporting that ensure clarity and accountability
  • Help shape how DoorDash measures performance, resolution, and experience at scale
  • Contribute to roadmap development and tech scoping for future QA capabilities
  • Leverage insights from calibration and dispute workstreams to inform and refine the design of future automated QA builds
  • Collaborate with the Product team to integrate QA systems with existing workflows
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-4 years of experience in strategy, program management, operations, or product support
  • Experience working with data or tooling to support performance or process improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and execute with precision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with AI tools, automation systems, or conversational data is a strong asset
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development principles and technologies
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Certification in a related field, such as Six Sigma or Lean
