About the Role

The Associate, Regional Support - Asia Pacific role at the Clinton Health Access Initiative is a unique opportunity for a highly analytical and proactive individual to support the Regional Director and Country Directors in the Asia-Pacific region. This part-time position, initially offered for a 6-month period, will be based in either Canada or the United States and may involve up to 10% travel per year.

The role is designed to provide dedicated support to senior leadership on high-priority regional initiatives, allowing the successful candidate to gain direct exposure to strategic decision-making and execution across a range of global health priorities. As a key member of the regional support team, the Associate will work closely with country directors and regional leadership to advance cross-country initiatives and improve execution through strong project management and decision support.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze and synthesize program performance, financial, and operational data to generate insights that inform regional leadership decisions
  • Develop structured problem-solving approaches to assess priority regional challenges and support the identification of practical, high-impact solutions
  • Support the design, execution, and monitoring of high-priority initiatives, ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Provide analytical and project management support to the Regional Director and Country Directors
  • Collaborate with country teams to advance cross-country initiatives and improve execution
  • Conduct targeted research to inform regional leadership decisions on priorities, resource allocation, and performance improvement
  • Support the development of reports and presentations for regional leadership and external stakeholders
  • Identify areas for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance regional support operations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional health trends, challenges, and opportunities

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as global health, international development, or a similar field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, country directors, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with programmatic tools and technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Clinton Health Access Initiative
  • Experience working in a global health or international development context, with a focus on Asia-Pacific regions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
