What You Will Do

  • Design and develop software applications that support clinical trials and life-changing therapies
  • Create or update software documentation to reflect current architecture and ensure knowledge sharing across teams
  • Participate in code reviews as needed to maintain high-quality standards
  • Update existing applications based on user story changes and enhancements to ensure they remain relevant and effective
  • Perform unit testing, validation, and documentation for new and updated applications using appropriate protocols and techniques
  • Offer technical support and guidance to internal and external users, including answering questions on application design and functionality
  • Assist Level III support in troubleshooting complex issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure application functionality, database integrity, data loading, quality assurance, and data export to maintain the highest standards of data-driven decision making
  • Maintain quality service and departmental standards by adhering to SOPs and supporting enforcement of standards
  • Contribute to team success by resolving issues, exploring process improvements, and collaborating across teams to drive continuous innovation

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Coursework in software development and major programming languages
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer or Sun Certified Java Developer certification is desirable
  • 0–1 years of experience (or fresher) in software development using Java, Visual Basic, C++, Python, and basic SQL
  • Understanding of development and QA processes
  • Experience working in Agile software delivery teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive, professional attitude

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to clinical trials or pharmaceutical environments
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps tools
