Job Description

About the Role

The Associate Technical Partnership Development Manager (DevTools) is a critical role at Supabase, where you will be responsible for executing on the company's partnership pipeline with AI builders and developer tooling organizations. As a key member of the growth, success, and marketing teams, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess and execute partnership opportunities that drive business growth and adoption of Supabase's Postgres development platform.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, including open-source technologies, SaaS models, and GTM strategies. You will be responsible for engaging with builders and platforms using Supabase, especially within modern 'vibe coding' environments, and managing partners that are onboarded to provide co-marketing support.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with builders and platforms using Supabase, including those in modern 'vibe coding' environments
  • Execute on the partnership pipeline with AI builders and developer tooling organizations
  • Manage partners that are onboarded and provide co-marketing support to increase adoption
  • Monitor trends across AI-assisted development, open-source infrastructure, and developer workflows to identify new ecosystem opportunities
  • Help grow Supabase's presence within next-generation coding platforms by building relationships with founders, developers, and platform teams
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, to execute on partnership opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, including open-source technologies, SaaS models, and GTM strategies
  • Identify and assess business opportunities and present findings to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop co-marketing campaigns and support partner adoption

What We Are Looking For

  • Recent graduate within a technical field or 2-5 years of professional work experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Solutions Engineering/Architecture
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies, SaaS models, or developer ecosystems, including MCP (Model Context Protocol) server-based integration
  • Strategic thinking and experience with market research, strategic analysis, or partnership development, ideally within the open-source space
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and assess business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present findings clearly
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing projects independently
  • Experience with GTM and DevTools, including Excel and other relevant software
  • Strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and the ability to navigate complex partnerships

Nice to Have

  • Experience building side projects or prototypes using Supabase in conjunction with AI-powered tools
  • Familiarity with open-source communities or developer GTM strategies
  • Internship or early experience in AI startups and/or developer tooling companies
  • Exposure to AI/LLM-powered developer tools and workflows
