Job Description
About the Role
The Athena Systems & Enrollment Analyst is a key position at Privia Health, focused on identifying and resolving conflicts and inconsistencies across revenue cycle management and provider credentialing and enrollment processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of data analysis, Excel, and healthcare administration. The analyst will work closely with the Senior Manager, Athena Systems, to ensure data integrity across all systems and drive cross-departmental process improvements.The analyst will be responsible for managing EFT, ERA, and EDI setups, conducting regular follow-ups with health plans, and addressing provider enrollment issues. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
What You Will Do
- Analyze revenue cycle management data to identify and resolve revenue leakage
- Complete EFT, ERA, and EDI setups with health plans through claims systems or payor portals
- Conduct regular follow-ups with health plans to obtain statuses of provider submissions
- Address provider enrollment issues and work with other Privia partners to resolve issues
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of provider and practice data across EHR, credentialing, and payer systems
- Maintain and validate enrollment tables, matrices, and system configurations
- Review and optimize EHR rules to prevent credentialing and billing-related claim denials
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve data and workflow issues
- Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs and revenue impact
- Document and share processes, system rules, and best practices
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in managed care credentialing, billing, and/or Medical Staff service setting
- Knowledge of Athena system, preferably AthenaCollector payer enrollment table
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google sheet skills
- Strong problem-solving, analysis, and attention to detail skills
- Ability to function independently and possess demonstrated flexibility in multiple project management
- Compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of EFT, ERA, EDI enrollment and claims systems
- Experience in a similar role with a focus on data analysis and process improvement
- Certification in healthcare administration or a related field
